Anticoagulation Clinic

Providing Advanced Medical Care in Montana

The Anticoagulation Clinic, located in Bozeman Health Internal Medicine Associates and at Bozeman Health Belgrade Clinic, is a resource for patients to have the blood test needed to determine their dose of Coumadin®. The Anticoagulation Clinic is a service established to monitor and manage the medication(s) that you take to prevent blood clots. The pharmacists, working in conjunction with your physician, will check your blood test and adjust your dose of warfarin (Coumadin® or Jantoven®) as well as other medicines that may be needed (such as heparin shots or Vitamin K, the antidote to Coumadin). Follow-up appointments will range between 10-20 minutes.
