Cardiovascular Rehabilitation

This medically supervised education and exercise program is operated by Cardiac Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The education program provides patients with vital information on the management of cardiovascular health and risk factor reduction. The exercise program is tailored specifically for individual needs and fitness levels. Through supervised exercise, encouragement and support, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation can help patients improve their overall level of physical conditioning, regain confidence and strength and provide them with the motivation and encouragement needed to make positive lifestyle choices.

Cardiovascular rehabilitation is recommended for those who have been diagnosed with myocardial infarction (within one year), PTCA/stent, valve replacement/repair, stable angina, and heart or heart/lung transplant.

Respiratory Rehabilitation

This medically supervised education and exercise program is operated by Cardiac Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The education program provides vital information on the management of cardiac pulmonary health and risk factor reduction. The exercise program is tailored specifically for individual needs and fitness levels. Through supervised exercise, encouragement and support, Respiratory Rehabilitation can help improve a patient's overall level of physical conditioning, regain confidence and strength and provide them with the motivation and encouragement needed to make positive lifestyle choices.

Documented need for breathing retraining is required. Example diagnoses include persistent asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease (ILD) or COPD.
