Bozeman Health Announces New Ambulatory Care Center Development in West Bozeman

Bozeman, MT [October 5, 2017] - Bozeman Health announced today it has recently acquired three commercial land parcels totaling nearly five acres for a new neighborhood outpatient care center. The location is on the southwest corner of Huffine Lane and S Cottonwood Road, convenient for the 10,000+ residents and nearly 30,000 commuters who travel these corridors each day to and from home, recreation sites, school, and work. This site is in the core of robust neighborhood development and will provide convenient access for busy individuals to easily get in and out for their medical care.

Bozeman Health recognizes the high levels of organic growth in our region, and strives to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We continually evaluate demographic shifts, community need, depth and breadth of available services, accessibility, and consumer ease. “Our goal is to bring high value, convenient health services closer to the communities we serve,” stated John Hill, Bozeman Health President and CEO.

The new Bozeman Health west campus development will include a partnership with United Surgical Partners International (USPI), and local physicians. This innovative three-way partnership model is an advanced way for nonprofit health systems and local physicians to combine their resources with leading industry experts and align efforts to advance healthcare services in growing communities.

This new facility will include a 40,000 - 60,000 square foot ambulatory care center that will house an ambulatory surgery center, community physician offices, Bozeman Health Family Medicine and Pediatric clinics, urgent care, and convenience care. The new ambulatory surgery center will replace the Bozeman Health Same Day Surgery Center now located downtown at 300 N Willson Avenue. This new location will benefit our patients and community by providing high-quality, lower-cost settings in which to receive primary care and same-day procedures. Our primary goal is ease of access to healthcare.

The west Bozeman development is planned to begin construction in the spring of 2018 and be open for service in 12 to 16 months. Bozeman Health and the development partnerships will together be committing an estimated $20 million investment in this neighborhood site. Our physician partners are invested in the quality of patient care and are engaged in order to increase their productivity, better control the outcomes of the facilities in which they practice, and to ensure excellence in the experience of their patients and families.

Bozeman Health has a 100+ year local heritage of always caring for the poor, the vulnerable, and everyone within the communities we serve in Southwest Montana. Our dedicated care team works every day to fulfill our mission to improve community health and quality of life for residents and visitors seeking care in our region.
