Bozeman Health Heart Center: 5 Star Rated by Healthgrades for treatment
of Heart Attack and for treatment of Heart Failure.
Bozeman Health Heart Center is a participant in the CathPCI Registry®
of the National Cardiovascular Data Registry® (NCDR), the American
College of Cardiology's registries helping hospitals measure and improve
the quality of cardiovascular care they provide. The CathPCI Registry®
assesses characteristics, treatments and outcomes of cardiac disease patients
who receive diagnostic catheterization and/or percutaneous coronary intervention
(PCI) procedures, and measures adherence to American College of Cardiology/American
Heart Association clinical practice guidelines, procedure performance
standards, and appropriate use criteria for coronary revascularization.
NCDR, The American College of Cardiology's suite of date registries,
honored the Heart Center with an ACTION Registry®-GWTG™ (Get
With The Guidelines) 2013 Platinum Performance Achievement Award for the
demonstration of achievement by sustaining performance measures in the
treatment of acute myocardial infarction patients through the implementation
of ACTION Registry®-GWTG™ and in-hospital initiation of the
American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Clinical Guideline
Bozeman Health Heart Center earned a 2013 Quality Achievement Award from
the American Heart Association. Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital was
recognized as a Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center Gold Performance
Achievement Award Hospital. The American Heart Association program recognizes
hospitals for their ability to quickly and appropriately treat heart attack
patients, particularly those suffering from the most deadly type of heart
attack known as an ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI).
The American College of Cardiology also has rated Bozeman Health Heart
Center in top 3% in the nation for shortest door to balloon time (incident
to intervention) for heart attack patients.
Bozeman Health earned the Quality Achievement Award from Mountain-Pacific
Quality Health for the sixth year in a row (2008-2013). The Quality Achievement
Award recognizes Montana hospitals for their dedication to preventing
surgical infections and ensuring patients receive high-quality care for
heart attack, heart failure or pneumonia. Winning Mountain-Pacific's
highest award is a reflection of Bozeman Health's results in improving
quality performance, eliminating avoidable patient harm and delivering
exceptional patient experiences.
Bozeman Health Cardiology Clinic received a three-year accreditation in
Adult Stress and Adult Transthoracic by the Intersocietal Commission for
the Accreditation of Echocardiology Laboratories (ICAEL).
The Cardiac Rehabilitation program is certified through The American Association
of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
