dry needling, aquatic therapy, therapeutic exercises, sport-specific training
and modalities to treat pain and inflammation.
Women's health is a specialized area of physical therapy that focuses
on treating condition that primarily affect women. Our therapists have
received specialized training in women's health, and have extensive
clinical experience and skills. Services include treatment and care for
pregnancy issues, post-partum care, pelvic pain, incontinence and osteoporosis.
WORK INJURY/WORKSITE ERGONOMICS
Working with primary care physicians, our occupational therapists assist
in determining whether and when an individual is able to safely return
to work. We help identify if an individual is capable of performing the
physical demands of a specific job through functional capacity evaluation
and work conditioning, with the goal of returning workers to their jobs
following an injury while keeping the worker safe. We also provide pre-employment
screens, job safety and site evaluations and ergonomic worksite assessments
to help prevent workplace injuries so employees can remain on the job.
