Telehealth Quick Start Guide
Before You Start
Please take a few moments to make sure your devices and software are up
to date to avoid potential delays using the Bozeman Health Telehealth
You Will Need:
- A laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and a microphone, or tablet,
- An internet connection.
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera web browser. (If using an Apple device
download the TruClinic App)
Update Your Software!
Update your web browser. Open your web browser and click on the menu option “About Google
Chrome” (or “About Firefox” etc.). This will automatically
check to see if you have the latest version installed. If you do not,
the browser will provide you with simple instructions to follow.
Update your webcam and microphone. The following steps will suffice for most computers, and are a good idea,
in general, to keep your computer up to date!
Apple computers: Click on the “Apple” icon in the top left corner and click
on “Software Update”. This will open the App store and will
automatically detect any updates available for your computer. Install
all updates pertaining to your operating system (OS) and your webcam and
Windows computers: Open the “Control Panel.” Find it by using the search function
located in the “Start” menu. Open “Windows Update.”
This will automatically detect any updates available for your computer.
Install all updates pertaining to your operating system (OS) and your
webcam and microphone.
Smartphones and Tablets: Ensure that your device's software updates are current.
