As a Bozeman Health medical provider or healthcare professional, are you
smarter than a high school student?
You can get the chance to prove it (or not, as the case may be) and raise
funds in support of Bozeman High School HOSA: Future Health Professionals
at the Biomedical Science Bowl being held Thursday, May 26, 6:30-8:30
pm, in Bozeman High North Cafeteria.
The quiz bowl tournament will consist of questions related to medical terminology,
anatomy & physiology, and pathophysiology. Each team can have up to
five members. To claim the championship, the winning health professional
team must compete against the winning high school team.
“Winners will receive a few minutes of local fame and a plaque to
show off in your place of work,” said HOSA advisor Dawn Drahos.
“’Non-winners’ get the satisfaction of knowing that
their entry fee supported future Montana healthcare professionals.”
HOSA is a national organization that provides opportunities for knowledge,
skill, and leadership development of biomedical science students. Each
year, Bozeman students attend HOSA conferences to explore health careers,
attend educational symposiums and compete in healthcare related events.
Proceeds from the Biomedical Science Bowl help offset conference costs.
There is a $125 registration fee per team and the registration deadline
is May 16. For more information, email
