    From the Provider

Karl was born in Rochester, NY where early on he gained an appreciation for the outdoors and learned the importance of hard work and serving others. During residency he met his wife and they are excited to live in Montana and enjoy their hobbies of fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and cycling. He has spent time in rural Alaska and Colorado caring for patients, and in Yosemite National Park studying wilderness medicine.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Reisig enjoys partnering with patients to treat both acute and chronic medical conditions in the context of the patient’s values from birth to the end of life.

Dr. Reisig has experience caring for recreational to professional athletes, having been team physician for high schools, Wake Forest University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and a semi-professional hockey team. He also has covered events including professional cycling, Ironman triathlon, and amateur rodeo. He has expertise and interest in non-operative treatment of sports related conditions and enjoys working with patients, parents, surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and coaching staff to return active individuals to do what they enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.
