Bozeman, MT [March 25, 2021]—Bozeman Health Foundation is excited to confirm the date and announce this year’s theme for its 20th Annual Hospitality auction—An Evening Under the Stars: Rising Together to Support Behavioral Health. This innovative event will include a virtual interactive live-stream and participants are encouraged to register early, to get dressed up, to gather safely with close friends and family or to join in on their own from their homes.

The need to expand access to locally available behavioral health services has never been greater,” said Jason Smith, Bozeman Health’s chief advancement officer. “We’re eager to invite our community to join us on this special evening as we carry what was intended to be 2020’s theme and funding beneficiary forward to this very important year.”

Hospitality is one of the community’s largest and most successful fundraising events, typically raising more than $500,000 for a specific health care priority each year. Already, Bozeman Health Foundation has more than $200,000 in challenge funds that have been pledged to help double the impact of gifts from donors during Hospitality 2021.

Proceeds from this year’s blended event will support the expansion of behavioral health services available through Bozeman Health in Belgrade, Big Sky, and Bozeman, where needs during the pandemic have continued to grow. Additionally, Bozeman Health hopes that this high profile event will shine an important spotlight on mental health, helping to reduce the stigma often still felt by those who need behavioral health care.

Funds raised will help Bozeman Health expand behavioral health services throughout the region, to include:

  • Embedding additional clinical behavioral health professionals in primary care, women’s services and pediatrics in Belgrade, Big Sky, and Bozeman
  • Enhancing crisis response capabilities in our emergency and inpatient departments at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital and Big Sky Medical Center, and strengthening community-wide behavioral health crisis response systems
  • Enhancing high-quality 24/7 telepsychiatry services to Deaconess Hospital and Big Sky Medical Center, providing essential expertise and support to our physicians and care teams
  • Expanding evidence-based community education, stigma reduction, and suicide prevention programs that will reach across our growing region

Hospitality 2021: An Evening Under the Stars will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 7 to 9 p.m. streamed live from the new main lobby at Deaconess Hospital. This event is open to all, with guests being encouraged to register early online, to join together safely in small groups or to participate from their homes. Elegant white attire or white costumes with a creative spin are encouraged.

While there is no cost to attend, registered guests will be able to purchase $50 party boxes to help enhance the night’s experience and to make personal contributions during the event that will be doubled in their impact thanks to challenge funds. Those registered will also be able to view and begin early bidding on April 19 on a dozen carefully curated live auction packages and nearly 70 compelling silent auction items.

Guests can register at or by texting the code “risetogetherbh” to the number 76278 on their mobile phones.
