Formalized program offers temporary parking for patients, family members of patients

BOZEMAN, MT [April 19, 2023] — In an effort to put patients first, Bozeman Health has formalized a program to offer short-term RV parking at Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center to better serve patients and their families who are actively engaged in care within the health system. Bozeman Health patients often travel long distances to seek much needed diagnostics, therapeutics, and treatment. Bozeman Health’s onsite RV parking program was created to help lessen their burden.

The two designated RV sites, located in the back of Lot E at Deaconess Regional Medical Center, are on a first-come, first serve basis for a maximum length of stay of two weeks. Prior approval is required along with a hang tag that must be displayed at all times.

Prior to this formalized process, these spaces were informally used for individuals visiting loved ones in the hospital and to support patients who live quite a distance away and are undergoing consecutive treatments for multiple days, needing to stay close to the regional medical center.

This is just one of the many ways Bozeman Health’s care teams go well beyond to support patients in getting the care they need.

These RV sites can also be used for employees or contracted staff who are actively carrying out or supporting critical services for Bozeman Health clinical operations and in need of temporary housing.
