A Bozeman Health multidisciplinary search committee consisting of administrative, clinical, governance, and physician leaders engaged in a national search for a new chief financial officer, following Gordon Davidson's retirement in April of this year. Bozeman Health is pleased to share that Brad Ludford, MBA, has accepted the offer to become Bozeman Health's chief financial officer. Brad will join the Bozeman Health team in September 2018.

Brad has more than 20 years of experience in hospital and health system settings as CFO, accountant, and finance team member. He joins Bozeman Health from HSS, a security firm that provides services in the healthcare, aviation, and government industries, where he was CFO. Prior to joining HSS in 2015, Brad was the vice president of finance at Catholic Health Initiatives, and also served as chief financial officer at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, both in the Denver, Colorado market.

As CFO for Bozeman Health, Brad will oversee the financial strategy and performance of the healthcare system, including the departments of finance and accounting, supply chain, revenue cycle, patient financial services, registration, health information management, and real estate.

"I am honored to have been selected to join Bozeman Health as CFO. Virtually every person Cheryl and I met through the process was incredibly welcoming, warm, and gracious. This, coupled with a great organization and team, made our decision very easy. Contributing to the organization through the experiences and skills I've learned will be important but what most excites me is the opportunity to grow, learn and contribute through new experiences. To be able to do that in an amazing health system and a great community feels very unique and special," said Brad.

He holds an MBA from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business, and a bachelor's of business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Brad and his wife, Cheryl, have two teenage children and will be relocating to Bozeman in August.
