Chris Darnell named administrator; Tracy Reamy takes new role at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital

Bozeman, MT [January 5, 2018] — Bozeman Health is pleased to share that Chris Darnell has accepted the role of administrator of Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center (BSMC), and system director of network development. In this position, Chris is responsible for the day-to-day operations of BSMC and will lead development efforts for the Bozeman Health clinically integrated network. He transitioned into his new role January 1, 2018.

Most recently, Chris served as vice president of Bozeman Health Medical Group, overseeing physician clinic integration, operations, and development, having joined Bozeman Health in 2014. A native of Virginia, Darnell spent 15 years in Charleston, South Carolina, primarily at the Medical University of South Carolina. His roles ranged from administrative fellow to director to administrator, and most of his experience involved working with physicians and managing practices. He then moved to East Cooper Medical Center, also in the Charleston area, where he served as vice president for strategy and development, leading strategic planning and developing the physician network among other endeavors. Chris holds a masters and a doctorate degree in health services administration.

It is with great appreciation for her significant contributions to Big Sky Medical Center that we share Tracy Reamy, RN, has accepted a new role as director of project management and facilities planning at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital. Tracy joined Bozeman Health in 2011, initially as a clinic manager. In 2012, she was named interim director of clinic operations for Bozeman Health, and formally became the director in 2014 before being named BSMC administrator in May of 2015.

"It has been my sincere honor and privilege to lead Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center through its grand opening and initial years of operation. We have an incredible team of professionals in place and I am extremely proud of the safe, quality care that we provide to our neighbors and to the people who come to our community to enjoy all that it has to offer.
