In compliance with federal and state regulations, Bozeman Health has published all of the charges associated with our charge master for Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital and Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center.

This shoppable and all services price list is based on information we have gathered from our claims and insurance payment files. This is not a guarantee of what you will be charged. Your actual charges may differ from the estimated charges for many reasons, including the seriousness of your medical condition, actual time the procedure takes, and the services and supplies that you receive. If you have insurance, your benefits will ultimately determine the amount you owe (including deductibles, co-pay, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket maximums).

The shoppable or all services price list was developed to help you determine the potential cost for services only. If you proceed with services at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital or Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center, you may be given a new estimate with more accurate cost and out-of-pocket information. Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital or Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center, or any facilities/care sites operating under Bozeman Health shall not be liable for any difference between charges listed in the price lists and the final bill for services. You may be eligible for financial assistance under the Bozeman Health financial assistance policy. Financial hardship is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

COVID-19 Testing Prices

In accordance with the CARES act, Bozeman Health's charges for COVID-19 testing and specimen collect is as follows:

COVID-19 Test $175.00
COVID-19 Antibody Test $100.00
COVID-19 Rapid Molecular Test $250.00
COVID-19 Vaccine administration--currently no charge. This is effective for COVID-19 vaccines administered through April 30, 2021.

Other tests and screening may be ordered and provided at the same time of service, which will affect a total bill for this service.

The cost of COVID-19 testing (including antibody testing) will be submitted to your health insurance, which we will verify when we register you. As of March 22, 2022, the HRSA program is no longer available due to lack of funds. This means that Bozeman Health may no longer submit a claim for payment to the HRSA program.

If you prefer to utilize the pay now option and not use insurance, the cash rate for the COVID-19 test is $150.00 and the COVID-19 Rapid Molecular Test is $230.00, which will be collected at the time of service. The pay now cash rate for a COVID-19 antibody test is $75.00.

COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines are free to anyone in the United States. Bozeman Health is a vaccine provider and will charge and collect the vaccine administration fee from third party payors (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors). Bozeman Health will not bill or collect the administration fee directly from patients. If you see a charge for COVID vaccine administration on your statement or on MyChart, this is an error. Please contact our customer service department at 406-414-1720 to have this charge reversed.
