Michael Ferrell, MD, is a member of the medical staff at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital and practices at Bridger Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Dr. Ferrell completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University. He is a U.S. Navy veteran with 11 years of active military service, including multiple overseas deployments and an overseas tour. Dr. Ferrell has more than six years of orthopedic practice experience, in both the military and private practice. He completed two fellowships, the first a combined sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C. For the second, he returned to Duke University for a fellowship in hip arthroscopy. Dr. Ferrell is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
