HealthCare Connections

Please note: In an effort to fully focus our resources and energies on keeping our staff safe, meeting the needs of our community, and preparing for a phased re-opening of our health system, we have made the decision to cancel upcoming HealthCare Connections (HCC) locations through the month of May.

HealthCare Connections is Bozeman Health’s mobile screening program - offering free health screenings, immunizations, and services to adults across southwest Montana. Since its beginning, HealthCare Connections has served over 4,000 clients and performed over 20,000 screenings. We reach people who might not otherwise receive such services. Sometimes, it's a person who has not prioritized getting screened or immunized, but when it's made available, they take advantage of the opportunity. Other times it might be someone who doesn't have transportation or lives in a remote location where it's not easy to access a healthcare facility. We look forward to continuing to meet these needs as we resume services spring 2019.

We build our schedule on a six-month basis. This allows us to be responsive to partnership opportunities and ensures we offer services at convenient locations. Our July to December 2020 schedule will be available in June 2020. If you would like to partner with HealthCare Connections at a service location, contact us

HealthCare Connections offers preventive health services, all free of charge. In order to offer our services for free, we have to follow guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). The USPSTF reviews all the available evidence and grades preventive services based on their applicability for community screenings. HealthCare Connections is able to offer services that receive a grade of either A or B from USPSTF, and that are feasible given the physical and structural constraints of the vehicle. You can see a complete list of the USPSTF A and B Recommendations here

We are constantly monitoring the USPSTF recommendations to ensure our services are up to date. Currently, HealthCare Connections is excited to offer the following:
