A Thoughtful Way to Show Gratitude to a Caregiver

Often, patients and family members feel gratitude for the care provided at Bozeman Health. You can say "thank you" by making a gift to Bozeman Health Foundation. A donation to the foundation furthers the excellence in care our community has come to expect from Bozeman Health. Each gift truly makes a difference. Your support can be directed to the department of your choice or simply the greatest need. If you choose, you can make your charitable gift in recognition of a special individual. Bozeman Health Foundation will send a letter to the caregiver of your choice. This caregiver will be recognized for their outstanding work at an annual ceremony.

Testimony From a Grateful Patient

The ER team, specifically RN Shawnna McLaughlin and "Dr. Chris" Eixenberger were amazing. My son got a second degree burn while camping in Yellowstone Park. After driving 100 miles in a lightning storm from West Yellowstone and arriving at 2 am, Nurse Shawnna and Dr. Chris immediately made my son comfortable and took amazing care of us. I can't thank them (and everyone including the front desk, admissions person, and everyone on staff that evening) for helping us with such a terrible situation. We are back home now and my son is happy and doing great. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. –Holly C. Davidson

Honorary Gifts

Consider a gift to Bozeman Health Foundation in honor of a friend or family member to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or the gift of new life. Honor a loved one while supporting quality healthcare in the Gallatin Valley. Bozeman Health Foundation will notify the individual to acknowledge your gift promptly.

Matching Gifts

Does your company offer an employee matching gift program? Many local organizations do. Ask your supervisor for details on how you might double or even triple your gift. Bozeman Health Foundation will assist in any matching gift paperwork that may be necessary.

Memorial Gifts

When loved ones are lost, it can bring great comfort to family and friends to make memorial contributions in their name. By choosing Bozeman Health Foundation as a memorial recipient, you can help ensure that quality, compassionate care is being provided to those in need. Donors giving in memory of a loved one will receive a note of thanks. In addition, periodically, the family will receive a list of donors who have given. To request that memorials be made in the name of a loved one, please include the following in the obituary notice: "The family of [insert name] requests that contributions be made to Bozeman Health Foundation, 931 Highland Blvd., Suite 3200, Bozeman, MT, 59715." You may also specify that memorials be made to specific funds or departments.

Planned Gifts

A planned gift is a contribution that results from a donor's careful consideration of how the transfer will affect his or her current financial planning and long-range estate planning. This contribution will benefit others beyond the donor's lifetime. In Montana, individuals making planned gifts to endowment funds can receive a credit against their state taxes for a percentage of their charitable gift. Other benefits include either a fixed or variable income, reduced federal income tax and reduced capital gain tax liability.
