At Bozeman Health, we are truly fortunate to have caring and generous employees who contribute to programs throughout the year. Today, more than 50% of Bozeman Health employees take advantage of the opportunity to give back, building added ownership and pride in providing needed quality healthcare in the Gallatin Valley and deriving the satisfaction that comes with supporting important causes. As with all fundraising at Bozeman Health Foundation, every dollar raised directly benefits Bozeman Health.
The Community of Caring Campaign takes place each fall; however, employees may make a contribution or pledge at any time. Contributions may be made to any department at the hospital or greatest needs. At this time, employees may also make direct contributions to United Way or Montana Shares. Each year the theme of Community of Caring changes to keep the excitement alive from one project to the next.
- Many employees find it easy and convenient to contribute by giving each pay period. In this way, employees can contribute more over time and experience less financial impact.

Blue Jean Wednesday is a twice-monthly event to benefit Bozeman Health. A $2 donation gives employees the opportunity to wear blue jeans on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. All proceeds benefit the greatest needs of our mission to improve community health and quality of life. Stickers and buttons for Blue Jean Wednesday may be purchased in the foundation office (suite 3200), Gift Shop and several other locations throughout the building. What may seem like a small contribution makes a big difference.
Blue Jean Friday occurs the first Friday of each month. A $2 donation affords employees the opportunity to wear blue jeans with their support going toward a rotating funding priority. The current beneficiary of Blue Jean Friday is our region's first neonatal intensive care unit, NICU, coming in 2020 to serve our community's tiniest and most fragile new patients and their families with specialized neonatal critical care.
Each spring employees share their creative talents with patrons of Hospitality. This annual fundraising auction maintains its unique sense of style by inviting employees, physicians and volunteers to contribute items of time, talent or treasure. Hospitality attendees look forward to these one-of-a-kind auction items each year. Pictured to the right are the ER staff members who handcrafted a beautiful quilt for the 2010 event.
The longest-standing fundraiser for Bozeman Health, the Make, Bake and Donate sale is held each December and raises funds for the Employee Emergency Fund. Employees donate handmade craft items and baked goods, which are then sold in the cafeteria. Truly a sight to behold, this is a "sweet" event!
