Employee Giving

At Bozeman Health, we are truly fortunate to have caring and generous employees who contribute to programs throughout the year. More than 30 percent of Bozeman Health employees take advantage of the opportunity to give back, building added ownership and pride in providing needed quality health care in southwest Montana and deriving the satisfaction that comes with supporting important causes. As with all fundraising at Bozeman Health Foundation, every dollar raised directly benefits Bozeman Health.

Community of Caring

Employee Giving Campaign

The Community of Caring Campaign takes place each fall; however, employees may make a contribution or pledge at any time. Each year the theme of Community of Caring changes to keep the excitement alive from one project to the next.

Planting and Harvesting Seeds of Kindness, this year’s theme prompts the meaningful proverb, ‘an act of love makes the soul more loving, a deed of humbleness deepens humbleness, and the thing reaped is the very thing sown, multiplied a hundredfold’. The work we do every day as Bozeman Health employees to provide compassionate, extraordinary patient care is incredibly important. We make a difference, together. By supporting each other, we not only reinforce these values, we strengthen the delivery of our mission.

As members of the Bozeman Health Foundation, we have the honor of connecting this culture of giving to the Bozeman Health community. As we launch the month-long Community of Caring Employee Campaign, we hope you’ll consider contributing to our efforts. There are many ways in which you can give and even the smallest gift truly makes a difference for colleagues in need.

Thank you for being a part of Bozeman Health’s culture of giving and caring.

Payroll Deduction

  • Many employees find it easy and convenient to contribute by giving each pay period. In this way, employees can contribute more over time and experience less financial impact.
  • Power of 1 is another popular way to give to employee funds. By donating one hour of pay per pay period through payroll deduction, you are paying forward meaningful impact.

Blue Jean Wednesday (and Friday)

Blue Jean Wednesday is a twice-monthly event to benefit Bozeman Health. A $2 donation gives employees the opportunity to wear blue jeans on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. All proceeds benefit the greatest needs of our mission to improve community health and quality of life. Stickers and buttons for Blue Jean Wednesday may be purchased in the foundation office (suite 3200), Gift Shop and several other locations throughout the building. What may seem like a small contribution makes a big difference.

Blue Jean Friday occurs the first Friday of each month. A $2 donation affords employees the opportunity to wear blue jeans with their support going toward a rotating funding priority.

Hospitality Auction

Each spring employees share their creative talents with patrons of Hospitality. This annual fundraising auction maintains its unique sense of style by inviting employees, physicians and volunteers to contribute items of time, talent or treasure. Hospitality attendees look forward to these one-of-a-kind auction items each year. Pictured to the right are the ER staff members who handcrafted a beautiful quilt for the 2010 event.

Make and Bake Sale

The longest-standing fundraiser for Bozeman Health, the Make, Bake and Donate sale is held each December and raises funds for the Employee Emergency Fund. Employees donate handmade craft items and baked goods, which are then sold in the cafeteria. Truly a sight to behold, this is a "sweet" event!
