Nephrology
Our specialists are focused on the study, diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease. We provide medical care for patients with high blood pressure, diabetic kidney disease, and acute and chronic renal failure.
In addition to seeing patients in the Bozeman clinic, our providers travel to Butte two times per month.
High Blood Pressure's Effect on the Kidneys
When blood pressure is high, it starts to damage the blood vessels, heart and kidneys and can lead to heart attack, stroke and other problems. High blood pressure is called a "silent killer" because it doesn't usually cause symptoms while it is causing this damage. Our nephrologists specialize in treating hypertension, and provide care for chronic kidney disease patients and post-transplant patients.
Other services include:
- Testing and treatment for chronic kidney disease
- Dialysis at home or hospital
Fresenius Kidney Care, a dialysis center on the Bozeman Health Deaconess campus, offers outpatient, inpatient and home dialysis depending on your health needs.
