Hospice provides support for people facing a life-threatening illness and shortened life expectancy so that they might live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice care is provided by a team of skilled professionals including physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, therapists, chaplains, volunteers and bereavement specialists.

The Hospice team is specially trained to provide the care and services needed to address the challenges and opportunities that arise during the final stages of illness and dying.
